Koan literally means:
« One who sets precedents ».

In its present-day meaning, derived from Zen philosophy, a koan is an enigma which is only resolved by going beyond the usual way of thinking.

Our choice of this name reflects our way of working: proactively, analysing files, and seeking creative original and efficient solutions.

The experience of our lawyers in the area of European law and our closeness to the European institutions enable our law firm to assist clients, in preventive actions before the European Commission, the European Parliament and to conduct EU litigation before the European courts in Luxemburg.

It should be noted that half of our turnover is achieved with non-Belgian clients.

To assist our clients in their international ventures, we are members of international legal networks which is an additional advantage to our clients who will find tailor made services in any country in the world.
